Currently OpenTrafficShaper is in active development. While it is being used in production by the sponsors, we still classify the code as being young. We therefore release periodic development snapshots of the codebase.

A development release has gone through extensive lab testing and is not deemed to be defective in any manner. Development releases are the platform used to test out new features which have been added recently and require extensive testing, use and community feedback.
